Owned a S-Corp, closed our retail store a year ago and filed personal bankruptcy. The corporation did not file bankruptcy.
Personal Bankruptcy was finally discharged in Dec of last year. Now I'm getting bills for the Personal Property Taxes for the retail store for 2005 being due. There was no real property attached to these taxes. The S-corp has no assets. Are personal property taxes, when there's no real property involved, dischargable?
Thanks.
