What are your rights with respect to seeing your personnel files (state of MA)? If a former employer goes out of its way to avoid this (canceling review meeting, asking to call by phone or send an Email versus a written letter). Can you have them sent directly to a third party (law firm or government body)? What government entity oversees employee rights (state's attorney general's office, D.A., local EEOC)

I think you should speak to a lawyer in your state if you feel you have a possible case. Check out attorneypages.com as most offer a free consultation
