Petition for Emancipation

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
If a am trying to file a petition for declaration of emancipation in Illinois, do i need to have a housing program to attend?

You cannot be emancipated unless you have a good paying job, a home and are self supporting. The fact that you hate your parents, your parents suck or your boyfriend/girlfriend wants you to shack up with him/her means nothing. Go to the search function and search emancipation, you will find every other unhappy teen in the US already asked. If you happen to be a million dollar a year movie star, you might qualify.
