What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

Hello:
I am trying to gather information on what forms I need to petition my mother to the US as a permanent resident. I am a US Citizen. I know I need I-130 and I-864. She is currently in my home country so I don't need to file I-485, correct? Any other forms?
Thank you so much!

You need the I-130 and the G-325 for you and for her. You don't need the I-864 at this stage. You also need all the supporting documentation. The process will take about a year. Once the USCIS approves the petition and it goes through National Visa Center for processing at the US Consulate abroad, you will need to pay the consular processing fees, submit the I-864 and all the financials and have your mother complete the visa application forms, go through medicals, etc.
