What is the name of your state? Missouri:confused:  I am trying to help phillipino mother to bring to U.S. an 8 yr old paternal child in Phillipines to U.S.- Father is U.S. citizen and adopted child but died last yr. Now child visa has been cancelled due to his death. He left her with IRS back taxes and mother is concerned that she won't be able to get U.S. citizenship. She has green card. She has income of $32,000 annually with no assets. She is working trying to resolve IRS issue to reduce amount owed or eliminate. Missouri state senetor Talents' office suggested to obtain "Hardship" visa but recent consultation with West Coast lawyer suggest "natualization" first of mother then drive visa process to bring child to U.S. at a cost of $3k + cost of approx. $500 for citizenship with est. timeline of 12-18 mnths to get everything done. What is best method "Hardship Visa" or obtain citizenship of mother + child visa and least expensive? Will IRS problem be cause for rejection of mothers "Naturalization"?What is the name of your state?
