I am most definately not a legal expert, but I would have to say that as long as the page has nothing libelous on it concerning you, that you would not be able to have this removed. As I understand from this post, your ex-husband's relative has a site that mentions and has pictures of your ex-husband and you and his child. There are no legal grounds, that I know of, that would permit you to restrict the use of a picture that someone else took, by that person or persons who've been given permission by the photographer. In the end, whether the ex-husband is a schmuck or not, it's his child too.

My reading of 'freeride's" original post, and it is a difficult read, does not indicate there is a picture of freeride there. If there were she might have a legitimate complaint, unless it were a picture from happier times when they were a family.

I think a father has the right to post pictures of his children on a web site if he so chooses.

Of course, freeride can bring suit to challenge his right to do so, but is it worth it? A cost/benefit analysis from my perspective indicates probably not worth while, but then I'm not freeride either.
