we ordered two pizza's from a well known chain in our area, the pizza was delivered.
while eating the pizza, i took a bite and discovered something didn't taste right, i spit out the bite i had taken and there was a band aid baked into the pizza! i called the health department and filed a complaint but am wondering if i can take legal action against this pizza chain.

Yes, since you actually bit into the bandaid. You get to sue for negligent infliction of emotional distress. Your damages won't be very high unless you've developed a fear of pizza, though. :)

If you really want to stick it to the chain, write a letter to the editor of the biggest newspaper in your city, giving the name/branch/circumstances of The Great Bandaid Debacle. As long as you write only true things, they can't sue you for defamation. You'll probably get free pizza for a year. OTOH, maybe you should just go for the cash..... ;)
