What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
Hi everyone,
Just a general question. When one sues another how is it decided what venue will be used for court like small claims. Say you are located and one state and the person being sued is in another (i.e. Internet Transactions, Rental Management etc etc.)
Any section of law covers this I wouldn't mind doing some reading.
Also, When dealing with a Small Business, What members qualify for being able to be properly served? Management and UP or only owner?
What's the best option if owner is never on site?
Thanks!

EDIT: I did a search for "sue someone in another county" and came up with some usful information, Anyone have any highlights that may be useful to add?
Thanks again!
