What is the name of your state Washington.

I live in a relatively old plat (1974) in which all the roads are Private Easement's for the benefit of all that own property in this plat.

Recently I was informed by one of the land owners that I could not maintain or use the access road that splits my lot where it crosses him.

So my question is where do I go from here, the road has been there for 30+ years and I have used it to access my property for the last 11.

We filed an anti-harassment action with the county court but the judge said he could not grant it and that we would have to file a "quite title" action. this does not seam like the correct thing to do as quite title is for ownership which is not in question, he owns the property, the access was given to us by the original plat and that's all that we want.

**A: the term is "quiet title" but that's quite alright that you did not get it correctly. Now you need to review the title report for the easement language. And enforce the easement. Sometimes there is language to the effect of if there is another access to the property then the easement is extinguished.
