Plead in front of judge? Help!

What is the name of your state? CA

If I plead in front of the judge to allow traffic school for a 22348B for going exactly 100. Is it even possible he or she can do this? Can a judge lessen a charge? I am a minor but have a perfect record over the last 1.5 years of driving. I have worked three jobs, 4.2 GPA, and I have applied to really good schools. I plan on reading a statement in front of the judge stating this. Should I get a lawyer? Help!

It IS possible that he will permit you to plead to a lesser charge. However, it might be best to consult an attorney first.

Carl, this topic has been discussed to death. The guy doesn't like the answers he's gotten so he's reposting the same questions.

rescuer87,

I haven't tried this but if you have time then I would suggest that you goto the local court and attend some of the court cases to experience the real thing. By this you will know how lawyers handle the case and what judge buys etc. Also this way you will be better prepared in case you want to take u'r case in court.

Make sure u post here what if you goto court and findout something good.

ps: I know lot of good students who drive fast.
