Hi all:
A DJ friend of mine in Chicago IL wants to start a website that uses music mixed by himself ( mixes of his that he plays at the club he works at). For those of you that don't know a mix is a continuos song in which different songs are overlapped at the beginning and end in a manner where you can't [or shouldn't ] noticeably tell the difference.
Each mix is like 7 songs and he wants to give people the otpion to refer them to a website store so they can but them.
Now he has seen many other "big" websites play the mixes. But he wants to be on the right legal side..
Whom can he ask? What type of law is that? Can anyone suggest where we could finsd info?
Thanks
