No, the police are not going to get in trouble for not reading Miranda rights to a minor.

And, yes, police still must Mirandize suspects in custody. The recent ruling simply says that a suspect must say they that they no longer want to talk or that they invoke their rights they cannot simply remain silent and assume the police know they do not want to talk to them.
