Please give advice i am falling apart...

I really need some advice. I will make it brief. Bio father owes 3 yrs of back support. Got order for withholding, he simply quit job. He wants to 'just not visit or call' and not pay suppport. sent adoption consent forms for my husband to adopt a month ago. No word from him, no support, not a thing. Now here is my dilemma. Do I allow him to fade away until the mood strikes him again to demand his visits (happend before after a year of no contact) or do I go to child support enforcement and demand support (he is working but not reporting) or do I insist on the adoption (he said "send the papers maybe i will sign and maybe I wont) which he could just say "no" to and spend a lot of money fighting for something I may not win???? He hasnt spoken to my child in 4 months. He owes us over 5000 he blew off the little visitation he got in court and just lost his summer visits because he was supposed to set it up before april 1. Now Please all I really want is some insight or advice. We are all in such limbo because of him and it is upseting our entire family and I just need help. Anything is deeply appreciated. thank you

If you keep haressing him for the money, he will sign the papers one day. Especially when he is in front of a judge who threatens to jail him.

how do I do that? i have never harped on the money issue. I just let it add up over the years only occasionally bringing it up. It so happened i moved 2 yrs ago and he tried to stop me, it was my only power over him. Anyway, should I be calling him personally about the money? writing him? or what would you suggest?

Either open a case with the CSEA or retain an attorney to petition to hold him in contempt.
