PLEASE HELP...court cont. again

I have posted my story before..but brief run down..I filed a motion to enforce visitation back in Feb. it has been continued 2 times already by my ex's attorney..I went in today to talk to my attorney and she said ex's attorney was withdrawling becasue ex called from Florida yesterday and said she was NOT going to be at court on Monday...she has refused to do EVERYTHING the judge has ordered and that we agreed on including going to a parenting coordinator.....so we think ok courts MOnday and she won't be there well this afternoon...attorney calls and say her attonrey called for a cont. and the judge GRANTED IT... I am soo mad...how can they keep doing this over and over again? The statue I filed in Feb. said it was to be heard with in 21 days and file disposition of a motion filed shall take place no later than 45 after file date...well here we are 4 months later and NOTHING..what grounds cana judge not follow the Oklahoma State statue..and who do we complain to?

Judges have an enormous amount of leeway to grant continuances...the only thing you can do is ask your attorney to be aggressive in arguing against any further continuances.

So what's the point of there being a statue?? If a judge can do what he wants??? There's no reason for it......why make rules and laws no one will follow?
