I'm have a huuuuuuge problem.

I paid $100 for a service on a web site in order to attend a private meeting. I got ripped off, and when I complained, this person put my name, cell phone #, address and a bunch of horrible lies about me on their site. I blew it off, and then a girl I was dating apparently did a google on me and found my stuff on there, and it forever altered our relationship, and we're not dating anymore, despite how difficult I tried to tell her these people were ripoff artists and slanderers.

Today, I get this email from them out of the blue saying they were going to send letters to my neighbors'houses with a bunch of lies about me if I didn't pay them $250. I'm sure they have money from all the people they've ripped off, and I have none, I just filed chapter 13. I doubt my chapter 13 attorney could help me on this. But anyway, please tell me what I can do here? They've started a horrible slander and defamation campaign against me. I contacted the police and they said they can publish public information about me no their site.

I'm afraid someone at work could come across this. They've hurt me bad, and it's getting worse. NOw they're threatening to send letters to my neighbors and stuff. I just want this to end, and i'd like my personal info to come down. I've tried very, very hard to find them, but they have hidden their tracks quite well. I'm even a computer person too! They have servers behind cloakers in another country.

ANy suggestions? Thanks

Call the police. That is called blackmail and is against the law. If the person making the threat is from another state, the FBI will want to know too.

Again, "what" the money was paid for is ABSOLTUELY and completely irrelevant, regardless of how "funny" you guys find it to be. I don't find it funny at ALL.

They had concerns about him & did a GOOGLE search (Search Engines can be wonderful Tools these days) on him. They found a lot of interesting & WEIRD things about him. They figured out that the old adage "Where there is smoke there is Fire" should apply. So they RAN away & are now glad they did."

The first sentence in bold is my comment. The rest following that was taken directly from a cached version of the swingers website. You need help, Bud. BTW did you get your free chicken select from Micky D's? Not too swift. My suggestion - Find something else or move on with your life. Bring it on, I can handle you, I have teens. :cool:
