My brother got a loan out with hfs about 6 months ago, then he moved to australia, it was secured on his house, which he sold, now he has brought a property over there, he didn't tell these people where he went, i am worried they will catch up with him and take his property away from him. are they likely to catch up with him and if they do, what can they do to him, as things are very tight for him and his family.??? Please help me stop worrying

If the loan was secured by the house, which usually means there's a lien against the property - how did he sell the house without paying the creditor ???

Its unlikely they could or would pursue him in Australia.
