A teacher has a phobia of snakes (a terrible one) and a student puts a snake on a project. The teacher freaks out when he/she sees this snake and immediately fails the student on that project causing a serious loss of grade and as a result GPA. Not to mention it was never stated that a snake was not allowed on the project, the student completely followed directions. While it is obviously unethical, is there any legal action the student could take?

What grade level?

What state?

How do you know the teacher was diagnosed with a "psychological impairment?"

What's not to say the student was "unethical" in attempting to rile the teacher?

What was discussed at the time of the incident?

Who are you - the student,. the parent, the teacher, or Dr. Phil?
