i'm in indiana. my problem is i'm married to a cuban he came in in 1980. we married in 1988, have 2 children. our problem is a church that got him out of the refugee camp never did any more paper work on him and never told him that he had to. we just found out he's considered out of status. we went to indy with the privacy act in hand they said his records are in miami fl. not to do anything for about a month so they can send for his papers. well we waited a month in a half and then sent it to the indy office and they said papers still in fl. so they never sent for them. we want to get him in status but they keep giving us the run around what do we do? (sent permanent residence forms in plenty of times) always comes back incomplete. every time i call immagration get the run around and different answers. thanks... going crazy in indiana
