What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? north carolina

my stepson is 17 years old and is having (i believe) an inappropriate relationship with a 56 year old married man. my son professes to be gay. this older gentleman is an owner of a very large business and has been meeting with my son and a few of my son's friends. he buys them expensive gifts. as an example, he bought my son an android, xbox 360 elite, a macbook, and several thousand dollars worth of clothes in the past 2 months. he's also giving these kids money. my son rarely has less than $1000 in his pocket at any one time and he's not working. this older man comes to our town a couple of times a month from new york to meet with these boys all between 17 and 19 years of age. he's married with kids in new york. i believe my son first met this guy on a social network site. is there anything, legally, i can do to put a stop to this? my wife and i are very upset about this and need to be pointed in the right direction.

You can do nothing. Mom and dad can involve the authorities.
