Michigan~ I have a couple of questions. First off, my soon to be mother in law wants nothing to do with me since June of last year when my fiance's ex wife wrote her a nasty letter with the child they share in common and cut and pasterd my name on it to look like I did it. Now that I am due to have a baby next month, I don't want her anywhere near me or my children. My 3 and 5 year old told me as well that they don't want to be around her. What should I do? Fiance told me that if I get a PPO on her then he will leave me. But I want it to be court ordered for her to stay away. Plus she has been verbally saying stuff to my child that she shouldn't. Like "She hates her and wants nothing to do with her" Plus she has been hitting my child for no reason. Secondly,I go back to court thusday for fiance's ex-wife doing a violation on me. Which she lied on it. I have letters from my fiance and sister stating that also. Plus I have many Police reports on her for phone harassment and the Detective wont prosecute her for it when they got the tracer resaults back stating that all the calls been coming from her home phone and cell phone? What should I do about that.

that is alot to put with from people that are not even in your family.

one of three things has to be happening.

you are REALLY in love
lots of money
really good sex

i would rethink all of this plan. do you want to be going in and out of court for the rest of your life? his life and family are way to active. he needs to get his ex and his mother squared away and his life in order before he can even think about starting a life with you.

 from your email to me....

What does this have to do with custody?

just found the remark that you were referring to.

the point is simple. the situation that you are in seems to be a lot of hassles, all of which stem from his previous relationship or your relationship with his family.

if this is the way that things are now, how will they be when you get married?

the mother is verbally abusive towards you, you believe possibly abusive towards the children, yet he will not make a stand against her for you.

his ex is harrassing you and you are going in and out of court with it. you have a restraining order on her???? how much kaos do you need in your life?

is this the type of life that you want your children to grow up in. people arguing, fighting, cursing at each other. is this what you want your children to see as a normal way of life? what he grows up with and what he expects to have in his relationships?
