my husband was falsely accused of child abuse and the case was sent to prosecutors almost 2 weeks ago we have heard nothing of charges or anything how long does it take for the prosecutor to decide whether charges will be brought or not we are waiting on pins and needles to know whether we need an attorney, or what>

You may need to find out if and when a complaint, indictment or charges have been brought against him, then pull up your state law by an internet search keywords (law-state name) and find the constitution ar revised code. all this can be done through searches and finally search for keywords time-lapse-speedy-etc. But each state is different so for your own good check your state laws and by all means it will do no harm to consult with an attorney....
