What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? texas my name is tony, i pressed charges on my 14 year old son because he assaulted me, broke the radio from my truck and took $14 dollars from me so they put him in the juvenial detention center. i want to drop the charges but they told me i can no longer do that. what can i do to get my son out of the juvenial detention center?

You can always work with your son's attorney to encourage him to work out a deal that might get your son released on home detention or some similar program. But, you cannot un-ring this bell.
