April 1st my front door to my condo wouldn't open. I went through the back door, and took off the lock and hadle to my front door. I ordered a pizza. Pizza came, I ate, then went into my bedroom to take a snooze (around 4:00 p.m.). At 5:00 p.m. I heard a hard knock on my door, my friends do this to me weekly and I figured it was them. "Open the door", half asleep thinking it was my friends, "F##$ you!" was my response. "Police, Open up!", "F$$& off!" was my response. I start to get up to answer the door. The door was already opened by a state troopers foot. Down the hallway two officers, guns pointed, throw me to the floor. Now, I had just got back from Vegas two days prior and left my ID at the MGM. It took some time to explain my situation, luckily my girlfriend, who was half naked, showed them my skipass. After realizing the mistake the state troopers (4 cars full of them) left rapidly.
Here's the situation: The lady that delivered the pizza called the municipalities police and said my condo looked suspicious, they scoped the scene and thought the same, they called the state police and they came lights and all!
My door is dented, my door jambs were busted, the top lock was still good, until they kicked in the door. The municipal police sent a maintenance man to secure the door for the rest of the weekend. I left a note on the door and called my condo association and told them NOBODY IS TO TOUCH MY DOOR until I talk to my lawyer. They fixed the door jambs, but my door is still bent. To top it off I got a bill for $160.
Is there any recourse I can take, I am totally pissed off! I put my condo up for sale.
Is there any recourse I can take? I am so pissed that I have put my condo up for sale.
Thanking you in advance!
