What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ca

hi, what can i do if the police officer who responded to an incident wrote a report that was opposite from the truth. another incident in which i requested to have a police report written for a stolen property a few days later was also written wrong. what he said based on his search of the property at the station was opposite from what was written. he basically lied as he verbally stated infront of the security camera at the station that he noticed the property... on the police report, he wrote down that he never saw the property. so that's 2 police reports that were wrong. the sargent at the station refused to do anything. the station is small but is a division of the lapd. what can i do to rectify it?
