What is the name of your state? wisconsin

i have just gotten all the reports we have on file for our up coming court case. after going through and reading the reports over and over, none of them are what was said during the time the police were at our house. we have filed reports for death threats, abuse to kids and threats to the kids. the officers had talked with us and the kids and the reports aren't even close to what was said. they make it sound like my wife and i are just causeing problems or are trying to be vendictive. is this going to completely mess with us during court? and what should we do about them. they are close in the fact of why they were called but when it comes to the " descrption of the report" its entirely different

Good luck. I called the cops when my ex assaulted me. They took a report, then called him for his version (yes, I do mean called - on the phone). When I got a copy of the report the next day, it stated only his side of the story - when I requested an addendum to the report, the responding officer told me that I should be glad that he didn't throw me in jail and if I forced the addendum, he would make sure I didn't like what he included.

Sorry - I'm a bit jaded about the men in blue.

and I think this post should have been included on the original thread.
: RESPONSE: sorry dequeendistress but which thread do you mean? and also i couldn't put this on any original thread since i had just gotten the copies. they were not "finished" according to the police station when i called two weeks ago. we had just gotten the call they were finished being processed the other day.

So pretty much this is gonna bite me in the Butt.....

oh those...... ok sorry. if i could turn back the clock and have all this happen on the first day that i posted the first one i would have put them all there, but i can't and these others happened after the first thread i did. i just thought it would have been better not to add to those and just go as a different thread. trying to keep them short was the idea but i suppose i could put them all together

would that make it easier on everyone?

It actually is easier to have relevant stuff together in a thread. It saves people the hassle of trying to piece your stuff together - something a lot of folks won't bother with.
