No Zigner, Oxycodone is percocet, a little weaker than Oxycontin. Opiate pain pills go like this in order of weakest to strongest:
1) hydrocodone (vicodin)
2) oxycodone hydrochloride (percocet)
3) oxycontin
OP, you were caught in possession of pain killers that weren't prescribed to you, it won't matter what he called it, they can prove it. They probably have the pills as evidence. He charged you correctly and accordingly.
You can't go in there and say, it wasn't percocet, it was oxycontin, either way, you were not suppose to have it. It's illegal.
