I live in the state of new jersey.

I met a girl who did one porn scene 3 or 4 years ago... As you can know it's embarrasing and it may destroy her life and her family.

My question is: Can she or any attorney ask for remove the material from the original page? May be paying the legal rights or something?

Please explain to us what can we do... I know she can be over internet but removing from the original site will help. Thank you!

yes she was 18 when she did it. I don't know if she signed a contract but if she didn't can she ask for a removal? I know the information will remain on internet but still, most of the sites link to the original site.

Let me know and thanks for your fast answer

Can she ask? Sure, she can ask.

Can she force it to be removed? No, she can't.

I know she can't force but there should be any right that can apply to her. Any law?

Can you explain more in depth?

She can contact the owner of the material in question, and offer to buy the rights to it. Once she owns the rights, she can attempt to enforce those rights to stop anyone else from distributing the material.

There are always consequences to our actions. This may be a consequence she has to live with. If the action was not illegal at the time, there may not be any legal recourse for her.

Lesson learned, Ihope:cool:

Yes probably is a lesson... it's sad but what can she do... Anyway there is not too much material about her but it's still on internet....

What a sad situation. Thanks everybody for your answers. Let me know if you find out more.

What kind of "porn" are we talking here? If it is "normal" porn, the above answers are correct. If, on the other hand, we're talking something obscene (use your imagination), then she may have some recourse against anyone currently displaying it.

Well, it's not normal porn... I mean there should be any way to claim a deletion.

What solution can be available considering that it's not regular porn?

Thank you

While porn, in and of itself, is legal in this country, obscene/indecent porn is not. The problem is distinguishing between the two. (By way of an example, Debbie Does Dallas is "normal" porn. 2girls1cup is probably not).

Where in the spectrum does your GF's movie fall?

Well is not my GF. She is just a friend that commented me about it and she wants to fix in any way it.

Related with your question it;s submissive or abbusive porn like humiliation. What can she do?

I don't really know what that is/entails, but unless it really goes over the top (like someone legitimately kicking her ass to the point of hospitalization), it's probably not legally "obscene". There is no standard test to tell though. Try reading this for more information:
