Im dumb and i was driving with my tail light out and had smoked weed in my car earlier that day. I get pulled over with two of my friends in my car. The cop asks me to step out and then asks me where the marijuana is in the car. I thought I had none. I told him could search the car and he found a pipe and a bag w less than a gram in it and i said yes those aremine. Then he brought this case out that I didnt know was in my car until that point-and it belonged to the passenger. My "friend" was silent at first so they arrested him-and then let him go w a ticket. Idk if he ever admitted to the stuff being his-but its a pipe a bubbler and 4 grams. I just want to know the worst case scenario for this being as we both got Misdemeanor possession charges and I think I am going to get screwed because it was my car. please help
