ok. so i got pulled over because of my tail light. we werent smoking weed but my car had a large scent coming from it. I was honest with the police because they had probable cause. I had two other people in the car-one of which was let go-the other was put into the back of the car in cuffs because he chose to remain silent. When the cop searched my car he found my pipe and a small bag of marijuana. I admitted to them both being mine-but when he found the case with 5 grams and 4 pipes in it-i was honest and told him it was my friends because it was under my friends seat. He ended up writing us both misdemeanor possession tickets and I am really wondering if because neither of us had anything on the persons then can everything be put onto my charge because it was my car? im freaking out about this and would love some advice.
