my son was given a citation in Utah County for possession of paraphernalia. he was pulled over because the officer said he smelt like marijuanna at a convenience store that he had just left. the citation does not say anything about a "drug free zone" but the summons includes that with the charge. the "drug free zone" changes the offense from a class b misdeamenor to a class a. he is 19 but has a juvenille record with two prior drug related charges. should he get a lawyer?
