What horrible parents she has! They didn't notice she was being preyed upon by their roommate or else they condoned it. Both options make me sick.
That the parents are said to be protecting the man is disturbing.

As a note: Even if the niece and her molester marry, marriage is not a defense to sexual assault charges that might be filed against the man.
