What is the name of your state? Pa.

First let me say that I am going through a terrible divorce at the hands of a very savy future ex- wife.
My girl friend informed me that her friend told her, that several friends of my future ex- wife told her to tell my girlfriend to " stay as far away from me as possible and run for the hills". My girlfriend was subjected to stories about how my ex-wife told many of her friends that she has " suffered years of verbal, emotional and sexual abuse" from me. My girlfriend also told me that she heard that my ex- wife has been saying terrible things about me and hurting my reputation for many years.
There has never been any proof of these allegations because they are positively not true. I live in a very small community. Lies like this not only hurt my reputation but could hurt my children. Can I sue her for slander? :(

Thank you for your consideration of this matter,

Look up the meaning of defamation, pay attention to the difference between “opinion” and “statement of fact”, and consider how you could possibly prove that the woman is making false, defamatory statements about you.

Yes, you could sue her if she defamed you.
