What is the name of your state? Iowa
In January, 2006 I won a Ebay auction for a new Mini DV Camcorder. I paid close to retail price of $425.00. I received the camera and have been using it as my own personal camcorder. Now, 9 months later I have a letter in the mail from the postal inspectors and US justice department stating that this camera might have been stolen. They included a questionaire asking me to give them all of the information I have about this transaction. I filled out the questionaire and included all of the information I have and sent it back. I purchased this camera without knowlege that it could have been stolen and definitely would not have bought it if I had know this. I am a little upset about this situation.
Do I have anything to worry about in this case or are they just trying to pin this all on the seller? Thanks for replies. What is the name of your state?

It is possible you could be required to return the camera to the rightful owner and will have to sue the seller for your loss.
