What is the name of your state? KS

I have an online service. I had two client who I want to post their names, business URL and what they did. I have solid evidence.

One did a chargeback of his fee to me after services were rendered. The other did a stop pay on a check.

Is it libel and or defamation to do so? If it is, how can I post the information so that it is not.

Thank you in advance.

I have posted the truth and have documentation to back it up. Basically all I did was give his name, business name and URL and the fact he did the chargeback, gave the amount and showed the documentation from the credit card company, sans any account numbers, etc.

I also made up some special pages on several sites using his name but about other people that had the same name. The pages rank high when you do a search on his name and business because of the way I composed them. His lawyer wrote me and told me to take them down.

But they are not (in reality) even about this particular person. They are merely designed to, well you fill in the blank. Should I change those? A local attorney told me the lawyer was just bluffing and that he couldn't do anything. But he said if I wanted to be totally safe to just take them down or change them. I hate to have to give in, however. That way the guy who owes me money has control. He's done this to several other people. He uses the system.

Thanks in advance.

The credit card he paid with is a corporate card. So I'm guessing I couln't effect his credit report or get anything directly from him and doubt I could pierce the corporate vail. But I did hire an attorney in California yesterday to attempt it. The attorney, if he gets it, will get half of the money. So either way, I come out a loser. This guy gets away with using the lenient consumer laws.
