What is the name of your state? NH

I have a message board and try hard to obey all copyright laws. My question is this. I posted some things years ago when I first started the board and didn't know better. I included links to the articles with them after posting the whole article. Having found them again recently, I went back to those sites to see if I could get their written permission to post them and can't find any way to contact them. Do I need to remove these or can I leave them alone? They are in a prominent place on my board, or I wouldn't worry about it. Thank you for your help!

Well, if you can't get permission, and you don't want to run afoul of any copyright laws, then yeah, you'll need to remove them. However, from a practical matter, if the copyright holders haven't tried to assert their rights by now, what makes you think they ever will do so?

I just don't want to take any chances is all. thanks, I'll go see once more if I can find a way to contact them, cause I really don't want to get rid of them.
