What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tn. Had a court case today that was postponed by the other person's attorney on the grounds that the other party was in criminal court for arraignment. This case has been postponed several times since January of this year. I go to criminal court and get a copy of court docket where said party was in court yesterday and not today so case could of been heard today. Lawyer lied to get case postponed again. What recourse and rights do I have?

Ah. You decided to start another thread.

The court allows for postponements for good cause. Apparently the court has accepted the other party's reasons for postponement.

There is little you can do about it.
