What is the name of your state? Wyoming
Can my husband become the power of attorney in regards to his mother's finances if when his brother says he already is and can't produce the paperwork? He is an alcoholic and his mother is unstable healthwise and mentally some days due to the care giving by his alcoholic brother and drug addicted sister. Are there any other legal forms we can stop them from cleaning out or at least allow a certain amount per month to be spent out of their mother's checking account to cover her bills not theirs and can we legally stop all credit card accounts as they are also abusing them to support their addictions. Appreciate any ideas.

Your husband needs to file/petition to become his mother's guardian/conservator. See an Elder Law attorney immediately that specializes with guardianships/conservatorships.
