What is the name of your state? CA

our landlord wants to charge us to power wash the driveway when we move out. $200. There is a little bit of oil on the driveway, but not more than normal wear and tear. Can she really charge us for this??

And she plans on repainting our whole house, but when we moved in, only a couple of rooms were repainted. For the most part, the only thing with the walls is that they are a little bit dirty. We have lived in this house for a year and a half. What are we really legally responible to pay for??

Find a product that is used for oil stains try using it to remove /scrub off the stain . take before and after pics If you are able to successfully remove the oil stain save the pics . and wait to see what happens when your landlord contacts you in writting about the deposit . If you dispute amounts held back go to your countys small claims court and file a claim aand the day of court have your pics with you . and let the Judge decide .
