What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oregon
I am currently arguing with a MINI dealership over the definition of the word "seep". Their tech found a "seep" coming from the input shaft on the transmission. I've asked them to repair it under the manufacturer's powertrain warranty, which is still in force. They say they are not required to fix it until it becomes a "leak". In my world, a seep is a leak and a leak is a seep; they should be required to repair it.
Is the law on my side in this instance?
What steps are required to force them to honor the warranty?
Thanx,
Sean B.
