We're considering moving from Arizona to South Carolina within the next 6-9 months. I'm 6 weeks pregnant. Is pregnancy an applicable "pre-existing condition"? Is that something we need to consider before deciding when to move?

Pregnancy would most likely be considered a pre-existing condition. However with the insurance law changes a few years ago, if you are currently covered under 1 insurance, it should be covered under the new. You need to check with the new insurance before you drop the old. You don't want to have a short period of no coverage because the pre-existing clause would probably apply.
