**A: then you have a right to request that inspection.
So it is applicable to the state of Indiana by law that I have a inspection with my landlord when the house I empty?

Which I know I have the right to say that, but what I'm asking is it stated by indiana state law if I do request him being here when I move out does he have to go by that by law?

**A: it is not required by law. but it is good practice. Send L a certified rrr letter requesting the inspection. Be prepared if L does not show, document the condition of the property via written punchlist and video/digital photos.
