What is the name of your state? Florida

At closing we were given a "receipt" for roof repairs. A month after closing we noticed the area that was supposed to be repaired was still damaged. Previous owners claim repairs were done and the roofer's work is guaranteed by roofer, not them. But no work was done at all. Send the owners a letter asking for reinbursement, but they hired an attorney and declined. What are my rights...I need help...please.....

Contact the roofer. You have a receipt showing the work was done. Then, if/when you find out for FACT that it wasn't...... contact them again.

Writer, you can level the playing field by hiring your own attorney to send a hammer letter claiming breach of contract, misrepresentation etc.
