Hi guys, anyone knows if it is against the law to print art poster pieces on t-shirts for your own business? for example art pictures of those from allposters.com ? Or does anyone know where i can check the design rules of printing t-shirt? Any help will be appreciated!

Images are protected by copyright. You could contact them and ask if you may use but you would most likely have to get permission from the owner of the design. If you would use the design without permission you would open yourself up to a lawsuit for violation of copyright. Hefty fines for that one!

No!

You cannot legally use somebody else's art to print on t-shirts to sell. You also cannot use logos or slogans from any company. There are web sites that allow people to sell t-shirts and other items, printed with their artwork, photographs, or original text creations (such as Cafe Press)... If you are using a site such as Cafe Press, then the rules are clearly stated there as well. I sell t-shirts on Cafe Press, and I create my own artwork to use. It's best to play it safe.:)
