can anyone help me i am from england mybrother was arrested in georgia on saturday for smugglinginto usa can we send him money or anything through the post.he is in court next week. will he be sentenced immediately?

i'm not a lawyer but i can tell you your brother probably won't be sentenced immediately and yes you should be able to send him money thru the mail. he will have an identifying number and you are not allowed to send cash or a check. usually just money orders. maybe american express if you can do that. all letters, any money orders must have your return address on them with your name included. they also need that identifying number so when your brother next phones, ask him what it is. good luck
