I recently applied for credit at a bank, and was subsequently denied.
When the bank representative called to inform me of this decision, instead of calling me at home, they called my workplace, inadvertently relayed this message to the wrong person, and now my entire department knows I was denied this credit.
Is this bank liable for violating my privacy?
Thanks.
