I live in PA. My son was recently involved in an auto accident. He was being tested for drug charges and is 17 years old. The local radio station was supplied with a news release from the State Police which did not include his name. However, somehow the radio station obtained his name and announced it over live radio, along with what happened and what he was being charged with. I feel this is a serious invasion of his privacy and would like to sue this station. Is it illegal in PA to announce a minor's name in relation to this information or not? Do I have a viable case against the radio station?
