What is the name of your state? Utah
My son has been falsely accused and has chosen to represent himself in court. He has subpoenaed his witnesses, however, one is hostile. She called the district attorney and told him she would not be to court because she was going to the inauguration is D.C. Isn't this considered in contempt? What can we or should we do about it? His court date is this Friday. Thanks

If she has been subpoenaed and she does not show up for court, she can be held in contempt of court.

So, if you really want her there, ask for a continuance to when she can be there.
