What is the name of your state? Michigan
When you are PR of a estate and when you go to close out the estate all they ask for is receipts to show where the money was paid but they don't ask for anything to show how much money there was. How do does the court know know if the PR dosen't have to show or prove how much money was left in the bank by the decease.

I can not answer your question, but I have a similar question for you.

Have you been through the probate process in NC?

If so, what else do they require?

probate advice

State ( Michigan)
The reason I am asking ,me and my mother need to know how the court will keep up with my brother being the PR of the aunts estate if he doesn't have to show any bank account statement. Does the Probate court have a way to keep up with his dealings of the estate even tho it's small

Asset information is information you should be providing in any shape or form on your own, no matter what it is, and not waiting for the court to ask you to do it.
