What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

i was arrested when i was 18 along with 3 other kids stealing from an unoccupied home. i never went in the house, but was part of it all the same. so i got residential burglary, a serious crime. first off, im a new person, i dont break the law. it was a stupid act when i was a new adult. i am 21 now and have matured and just want to be a good civilian.

my informal probation is ending may 13, 2012 and i still owe probation fees $649 owed out of $4200 total. and i was sentanced to 4 weekend jail visits (8 days total), which i completed. and 90 days caltrans, which i will have 25-29 days left. the main reason i havnt been able to finish caltrans (other than being busy with college and work) is because i have a painful mass/growth a little bigger than a pea in a very painful area of my palm. the hand is pretty much useless when it comes to hard labor. i went to a doctor and got an expensive MRI and a doctors note. the doctor wants to operate on it and remove it, but i dont have the funds nor the healing time (which is a long time). some days i can do caltrans and some days my hand just hurts too much. im on good terms with no violations and just saw the judge 2 months ago kind of as a progress report and it went really well. what do you think will happen? will it be up to the judge or the probation officer to extend my probation so i can finish payments and caltrans?

thank you

I suggest you avail yourself to finishing caltrans work with court direction to accommodate your doctor documented disability or request transfer to another vocation. You seem to have no problems with school. Likely they will extend your probation.
