What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NevadaHello my boyfriend was picked up on a bench warrent in Arizona for a probation violation back in March of this year and sent to clark county. On 04/26/2010 he appeared in court and although he stipulated to the facts and curcumstances in the violation report. The court ordered his probation to be revoked. original sentence of counts 1 and 2 minimums of 14 months and maxium terms of 44 months , counts 2 to run concurrently with counts 1 imposed with 55 days credit for time served. 1st QUESTION: What does that mean his sentence that is?

So I entered CMC website(Blackstone Criminal/Probate court cases) and pulled up his case read the minutes and the case activity,judgement and sentencing. I noticed that that on 05/12/2010 the same judge entered (AMENDED JUDGEMENT OF CONVICTION) 2nd QUESTION: what does that mean?

Last QUESTION: on his sentencing it states the charge the place and the outcome. Which says SUSPENDED: on both counts. What does that mean? on the status of his case it says. CLOSED? please help: Thank You

1- He is done, probation terminated unsuccessful. He is going to serve a minimum of a year - his counts are running simultaneously with about 2 months credit.

2. An abstract of judgment is a form the court prepares for the prison so they know how much time the defendant is sentenced to and for what. An amended abstract means they fixed something.

3. Not sure what suspended would mean if they imposed sentence.

4. When someone is sentenced to prison, their case is closed.
